Now it's Megan's turn. Meg did a lot this summer. She started summer by going to a church camp in Colorado Springs for a week. She loved it and can't wait to go back next year. She also helped with VBS this year.
She joined a competitive cheer team and had practices and camps all summer. You'll see many posts of Megan's cheer as the year progresses. They have 9 meets this year starting in November. All but one are in town so that's good news.
Megan's big summer news is her job. That's her first paycheck she's holding in the picture. She works at a frozen custard shop called CoCo's Custard. She started in late July & really likes working there. Meg likes the owners and has fun making all the different menu items. Bruce likes it cause he gets a treat whenever he picks her up from work :)
Megan also got her driver's permit in June and has been driving all summer. She's doing a good job and seems to be improving each week. She's only been on the interstate a few times but did okay. We definitely haven't exposed her to rush hour traffic yet.
She's a freshman in high school now and that brings all kinds of 1st for her. I'll try to capture the year as best I can with pictures/blogs.

Love the picture with her first paycheck! Sounds like a fun first job! I'm sure Megan will have fun keeping up with a busy cheer schedule.
